1. How Do I Book an Appointment with Psychiatrist?

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Snezana, you will need a referral from your General Practitioner (GP). Once we receive the referral, Dr. Snezana will review it to assess suitability and availability. You may be asked to complete additional forms and provide supporting documents, such as school reports, specialist assessments, or allied health reports. Once all required documents are received, our administrator Alana, will contact you with the outcome, booking options, fee details, and any additional information we may require.

2. Do I Need a GP Referral for Counselling or Psychosexual Therapy?

No, a GP referral is not required to book an appointment with Dr. Nenad (Psychosexual Therapist) or Nevenka (Counsellor & Life Coach). Please note that these services are not eligible for Medicare rebates or private health insurance claims.

Our psychiatric consultation fees vary depending on the type and length of the appointment. We are transparent about pricing, with no hidden fees.

5. What is your Cancellation Policy?

You will receive an SMS reminder for your appointment. We require confirmation of your attendance. If we do not receive confirmation, your appointment may be offered to another patient.

Same-day cancellations or missed appointments will incur full fees.
If you require a new appointment after missing one, you will be placed on the waitlist.

6. How Do I Pay for My Appointment?

All payments must be made on the day of the consultation via EFTPOS or cash.

7. Will I Receive a Diagnosis in My First Appointment?

Not necessarily. The diagnostic process depends on the complexity of your concerns, the information available at the initial assessment, and whether further assessment is required.

8. Do You Offer Telehealth Appointments?

Yes, telehealth consultations are available.

9. Do You Provide Inpatient Services?

If you have private health insurance and are admitted to St Andrew’s Hospital, psychiatric treatment will be billed directly to Medicare and your health fund under a NO GAP arrangement.

10. Do You Accept WorkCover and DVA Patients?

Yes. For approved WorkCover and DVA patients, all accounts will be billed directly to the relevant authority for both inpatient and outpatient services.
